The Goeller Verlag, Baden-Baden. are proud to present the new technical and scientific journal refractories WORLDFORUM.

refractories WORLDFORUM addresses refractories professionals worldwide, i.e. in the production of refractories as well as in industries processing (industrial kiln construction and refractories engineering) and consuming refractories (iron and steel, cement, lime, glass, foundry, aluminium and non-ferrous-metal industry, waste incineration, power plant engineering and petrochemical industry). A further target group are the suppliers to the refractories business (raw materials, additives as well as machine and plant engineering).

The first edition of refractories WORLDFORUM was published in March 2009 focusing on raw materials and also including technological trends and reports on various application segments, market information, energy efficiency and environmental issues. The second issue was published in July 2009 and focused on UNITECR 2009 in Brazil and CERAMITEC 2009 in Germany.

The editorial team headed by Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Rosemarie Vocht-Mields is supported by the advisory committee consisting of members from science and industry.

Cooperating partners are MORE-Freiberg e.V – Meeting of Refractory Experts, the Refractories Committee of the German Iron and Steel Association (Gemeinschaftsausschuss Feuerfeste Stoffe Stahlinstitut VDEh),  DGM – German Association for Material Science and FIRE – Federation for International Refractory Research & Education.
