Nabaltec AG's revenues in the second quarter of 2010 were the highest in the company's history, as consolidated revenues grew by 73,2 %, to EUR 29,1 million (EUR 16,8 million in 2009). Revenues in the first half of 2010 came to EUR 53,4 million, up 61,3 % over the first half of 2009.

Outotec to Supply iron Ore Sinter Plant for SAIL
Outotec has won an order from Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) for the design and delivery of an iron ore sinter plant for SAIL's Bhilai steel plant in Chhattisgarh. Outotec will implement the turnkey plant project in consortium with Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Outotec does not disclose the contract value, but typically technology solutions with corresponding scope range from EUR 20 to 25 million.

Hindalco subsidiary Utkal Alumina International Limited has tied up INR 4906 crore debts from a group of banks for its refinery project in Orissa. As per report, Hindalco has successfully achieved the financial closure of UAIL with the signing of a common loan agreement of INR 4906 crore on July 28th 2010. This constitutes the entire debt requirement of the project.

On August 22, Indian steelmaker Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) commissioned the second ladle furnace of the steel melting shop-II of its Rourkela steel plant, Orissa, India. Inaugurated by company chairman C.S. Verma and produced by Danieli India Limited, the 150-t ladle furnace is part of an INR 1,97 billion (USD 41,9 million) scheme for simultaneous blowing in basic oxygen furnace (BOF) converters of steel melting shop-II of the plant.
