Construction of the World Largest Coal Fired Power Station

Beroa/ES has been awarded the contract for the construction of two large concrete chimneys within a new coal fired power station being constructed by Eskom/ZA in Medupi, South Africa.
When completed, this will be the largest coal fired power station in the world. The scope is to design and construct 2 reinforced concrete chimneys of 220 m height, approximately 24 m in diameter and with 3 internal liners of approximately 9 m in diameter each (9/2011).
