21st FOGI Seminar: Refractories – Materials and Their Application in Industrial Furnace EngineeringIn the design of industrial furnaces, the structure of the furnace walls, especially the type of thermal insulation, is a crucial criterion for the energy consumption and energy losses of plants. With the selection of the refractories and the wall structure, the requirements derived from the process engineering (interaction between the product – furnace atmosphere – wall structure, continuous and intermittent operation etc.) and the energy requirements (minimization of the energy consumption) are defined.
Knowledge of these relationships is to be explained to newcomers as well as experience field professionals. The Forschungsvereinigung Industrieofenbau e. V. (Industrial Furnace Engineering Research Association) is therefore inviting you to attend the 21st FOGI – Seminar from 20 to 21 March at Hotel Mercure in Duisburg/DE. The seminar will be hosted by Prof. Bauer, Department of Energy Utilization/Refractories, who has enlisted a team of experts including refractories manufacturers and researchers. Objective of the seminar is the training and advanced training of field professionals.
Seminar fee for FOGI - members: 250 EUR Seminar fee for VDMA - members: 400 EUR Seminar fee for non-members: 550 EUR The seminar fee includes the seminar documentation, refreshments and lunch as well as dinner for the seminar participants on the first day of the seminar.
