RHI Update on the Planned Combination with Magnesita

RHI/AT filed for merger control clearance with the competition authorities in Brazil at the end of March and in Europe at the beginning of May and expects to have a clearer picture of the outcome of the proceedings around the end of the first half of 2017. Based on their financial statements for the year 2016, the combined revenue of RHI and Magnesita amounted to approximately EUR 2,5 billion.

The US Aluminum Association Released 2017 North America Aluminum Industry Plant and Press Directories

The US Aluminum Association released the 2017 edition of the North America Aluminum Industry Plant Directory and the North America Aluminum Industry Extrusion Press Directory. The Plant Directory covers 485 plants while the Extrusion Press Directory covers 204 plants, operating 538 extrusion presses, in North America as of April 2017. This updates previous directories last published in 2014. The directories provide plant location, types of products produced, contact information and affiliated websites.

A total of some 850 employees produce high-quality die-cast components for the automotive, electrical and machine construction industries in Harzgerode/DE.
