Made in Steel Postponed until May 2021
The 9th edition of Made in Steel, the main Conference & Exhibition in Southern Europe dedicated to the steel industry, organized by Siderweb -– The Italian steel community, has been postponed from March to the end of May 2021. The event will be held from 26–28 May 2021 in Fiera Milano Rho, pavilions 22 and 24.
The decision has come after a long period of reflection and open discussions with operators in the steel industry and Fiera Milano. Given longer than anticipated exit times from the COVID-19 pandemic health emergency, the postponement is intended to ensure maximum safety for exhibitors and the thousands of visitors expected. "I believe that Made in Steel 2021 is a unique opportunity for the Italian, European and world steel industry on the one hand because the main international steel fairs have been moved to 2022, on the other hand because, after more than a year of enforced but necessary distancing, at Made in Steel we shall be able to meet our desires for rebirth, a restart, physicality, expressivity and handshakes. As always, Made in Steel will thrive not only on relationships, but also on content. We shall devote plenty of space to debates on the future of steel, " explained Emanuele Morandi, President and Chief Operating Officer of Made in Steel.
The 9th edition of Made in Steel will be held in conjunction with Lamiera (26–29 May 2021), the international exhibition promoted by UCIMU-Sistemi per produrre dedicated to the industry of sheet metal forming machine tools and innovative technologies related to the sector.
