IREFCON 2026 Postponed to 2–4 November 2026

The initially announced date has been slightly amended, as it clashed with a popular festival in India. The organisers ask you kindly to update your agendas. The 16th India International Refractories Congress (IREFCON 2026) will take place from 2 to 4 November 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty on Mulavukad Island in Kochi, Kerala, India.

This biennial global forum will bring together manufacturers and end-user industries, including steel, cement, aluminium and glass, as well as raw material suppliers, equipment providers and research institutes. The focus this year is on driving innovation and sustainability in refractory technology against the backdrop of India’s growing infrastructure and core sector expansion.

The call for papers is open now and will close 15 April 2026.
