The Plibrico Company/US announced in October the appointment of John Paul Surdo as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of longtime President and CEO Brad Taylor. During Brad Taylor’s tenure, Plibrico experienced meaningful transformation, always with customer success at the center. His retirement marks the close of an important chapter for the company, while opening the door to an exciting new one under the leadership of John Paul Surdo. John Paul Surdo brings to Plibrico a distinguished career in large global manufacturing and distribution organizations, where he successfully led turnarounds, integrated acquisitions, and implemented go-to-market strategies that expanded market share and profitability. Before joining Plibrico, he held a variety of senior leadership roles across global markets, most recently serving as President of the Americas at Bystronic Group, a leading global technology company in the field of sheet metal processing. Surdo holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA in General Management.
