Powder Processing and Technology, LLC Acquires the Business and Assets of Sunrock Ceramics, LLC

Sunrock Ceramics/US, a specialized manufacturer of high purity refractory ceramics, announced that it has been acquired by Powder Processing and Technology, LLC (PPT GROUP) based in Valparaiso, Indiana, a wholly owned business of EJ-Vestco Industries, effective 1 January 2026. The acquisition positions Sunrock Ceramics for its next phase of growth through increased investment and expanded capabilities. The company will continue to operate under the Sunrock Ceramics name, and management leadership.

Sunrock Ceramics, founded in 2005, has established itself as a trusted supplier of high performance ceramic consumables and other specialized refractory for demanding thermal processing applications in industries such as the sintering of technical ceramics and powder metallurgy components (including magnets), investment casting, powder processing, glass melting and foundries. Under the new ownership the company plans to invest in manufacturing capacity and process improvements, as well as boost technical resources to support new product and market opportunities.
