Changes in Minerals Technologies Energy Services Business Segment

A. Jones, in his present position, has been responsible for Energy Services’ business in the Eastern Hemisphere, including West Africa, Nigeria, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia. Since being appointed to that position in 2014, he developed and implemented a strategy for international expansion, particularly in the Middle East, through both organic growth and acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining the company, he was Managing Director of Africa Oilfield Services Limited from 2009 to 2012.  A. Jones spent a total of 23 years with Schlumberger Oilfield Services, the world’s largest oilfield services company, where he assumed numerous roles of increasing responsibility. Starting as a field engineer, he also served as Business Development Manager – Middle East; and Vice President and General Manager – Well Completions and Productivity (WCP) – Middle East and Asia. He also held the position of Region Director of Africa/former Soviet Union and the Middle East for Expro International. New York-based Minerals Technologies Inc. is a resource- and technology-based growth company that develops, produces and markets worldwide a broad range of specialty mineral, mineral-based and synthetic mineral products and related systems and services. MTI serves the paper, foundry, steel, environmental, energy, polymer and consumer products industries. The company reported sales of USD 1,725 billion in 2014.
