Oman Cement Company Plans Large Investments

Since the first production line is nearly 29 years old, OCC is modernising the clinker unit at a total cost of USD 28,99 million. The contract is awarded to CNBM International Engineering of China, and expected to be completed by end of February 2012. The modernisation will also result in increased production from the existing level of 2000 t/d to 2700 t/d. The plant life will also increase by another 25 years.
