He started working for Refratechnik Holding GmbH in Munich in 2009 as manager for Strategic Projects, and moved to Refratechnik Cement GmbH in Göttingen in July 2013, as Plant Group Leader. Simultaneously, Dr Thomas Reimer resigned as Technical Director of Refratechnik Cement GmbH in Göttingen, in order to concentrate on his new tasks as sole Managing Director of Refratechnik Ceramics GmbH (locations in Melle and Hungary). Founded in 1950, and with more than 1500 employees, the Refratechnik Group is the world’s largest family-run business in the refractory sector, and belongs to the most dynamic medium-sized companies in Germany.
